After reading this article, part of me feels so very ashamed of being an American. The man who wrote this article is either very misinformed, willingly omitting facts or simply an idiot. He claims that each race should only be able to marry and love people of their own race.

This wasn’t what truly bothered me. What bothered me the most was that he uses verses from the Bible to sustain his point. I looked up these verses and they have nothing to do with race.

The verses only said that the Israelites shouldn’t marry or associate themselves with their enemies at the time. It’s basically the same idea of when the U.S. was at war with the Soviet Union. Anyone seen in the company of a Russian would be viewed as a traitor and unpatriotic.

The man who wrote this is not only ignorant and blatantly racist, but he is giving good Christian people out there a bad name.

I myself am not a Christian, but I believe it’s people like these that make others hate the majority of true Christians.
