WHEREAS: The positions of the Government of the Student Body (GSB) President and Vice President are critical leadership roles serving all students at Iowa State University, and

WHEREAS: a substantial portion of these students live in the residence halls, and

WHEREAS: residence hall life is impacted by the debates, bills and resolutions of GSB, and

WHEREAS: the Inter-Residence Hall Association (IRHA) serves as an organized and student-centered voice for on-campus residents, and

WHEREAS: candidates for GSB President and Vice President have had opportunity to present their platforms to the IRHA Parliament, and

WHEREAS: IRHA Parliament members have given consideration to all candidates and their positions affecting residence hall life, be it therefore

RESOLVED: that IRHA officially endorses the campaign of Luke Roling and Nate Dobbels for the positions of 2010 – 2011 GSB President and Vice President respectively, and be it further

RESOLVED: that a copy of this resolution be sent to the ISU Daily.
