Ames’ newest tattoo shop, Heroic Ink, 409 Douglas Ave., will host an open house 6–9 p.m. Jan. 21. Visitors will be able to meet the owners and artists, Hugo Kenemer and Scott Mumper, tour the studio and view work samples, including a “live portfolio” of tattoos from previous clients.
