Help session held for potential student contest participants

The Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship will hold a help session 3:30 – 5 p.m. Friday at the center’s office, 2501 N. Loop Drive unit 1615, for students interested in participating in its 2010 New Venture Business Plan Competition.
The contest is for Iowa college and university students interested in starting their own businesses. The submitted business plans will be judged on content and viability. The top three submissions will each receive a $5,000 grant.
Friday’s help session will include information on writing a successful business plan and performing market research, as well as information about the competition.
Additional sessions will be held 3:30 – 5 p.m. Dec. 4, and 3:30 – 5 p.m. Jan. 15.
