ESPN The Magazine has named Cyclone volleyball player Kaylee Manns to its Academic All-District VII selection. Manns is an advertising major, and is also pursuing a Spanish minor at Iowa State University and was named to the second team.

Manns currently leads the conference in assits per set with 11.97 and ranks sixth on the all-time on the Iowa State career list in digs with 1,290. The senior setter has been an active part of the Cyclones in her four years as a starter, helping lead Iowa State to its first-ever Elite Eight performance in 2008 and carrying her leadership in this season’s 20-4 Cyclone squad. The Topeka, Kan., native has compiled a 3.37 GPA and is a two-time academic All-Big 12 honoree at Iowa State.
