Jeanne Hogarth, manager for Consumer Education and Research at the Federal Reserve Board and 2009-2010 Dean Helen LeBaron Hilton Endowed Chair in the College of Human Sciences, will host a workshop about smart investing, “Smart investing @ your library: considerations in the aftermath of the recession,” from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Farwell T. Brown Auditorium at the Ames Public Library, 515 Douglas Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
