Richard S. Swanson, president and CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, will present at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Gerdin 119 as the Fall 2009 speaker for the Robert Stafford Lecture Series on Banking.

In his lecture, Swanson will discuss the housing market and how changes in the housing sector can ripple through to consumers, financial markets and community banks.
