Resurfacing work on Lincoln Way begins Monday in west Ames.

It will involve the area of Lincoln Way that stretches “from about 500 feet east of Marshall Avenue, west to Hickory Drive,” according to a press release from the city of Ames.

Traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction during the five-week process, but businesses will be accessible.

The construction will include resurfacing with new asphalt pavement, removal of existing surfaces and pavement patching.
