Bands from China to play M-Shop for orphan fund

Three of China’s well-known indie rock bands, Hedgehog, Queen Sea Big Shark, and Casino Demon, will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at the Maintenance Shop.
The bands are performing on the Sing for China Tour to raise funds for the China AIDS Orphan Fund.
The tour began in New York and will end on the west coast. Travel for the tour members is a converted American school bus.
The China AIDS Orphan Fund has a strong presence in the Henan Province. It advocates for education, research and funding to help the affected Chinese population. It is a registered non-profit organization based in the United States.
The concert is $8 for ISU students and $10 for the public.
