Ames Police took two adults and two juveniles into custody Friday morning in connection with a shooting at the Kwik Shop, 2700 W. Lincoln Way, at around 1:10 a.m., according to a press release.

Kong Tong, of Ames, was exiting the parking lot onto Lincoln Way when a man standing by a gas pump fired several shots into Tong’s vehicle, according to the release. Tong was not injured.

The shooter and another man left the area on foot, according to the release.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the event to call the Ames Police Department, at 239-5317 or 239-5130.
