As part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ 50th anniversary celebration, a concert featuring the ISU Wind Ensemble and Jonathan Sturm, associate professor of music and concertmaster of the Des Moines Symphony. Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

“Faces of Jesus”

Wesley Foundation/United Methodist Student Center, 2622 W. Lincoln Way

“Faces of Jesus” is a display of several images of Jesus — both traditional and non–traditional. Guests are asked to leave their thoughts, feelings and insights about the images. The exhibit is located in Wesley’s Landing and the Student Lounge — second floor of the new North Wing. Guests are welcome during business hours.

COMEDY! With Wyatt Cenac from ‘The Daily Show’

Wyatt Cenac, a correspondent for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” since 2008, has “reported” on the presidential election, economy and black people’s popularity among white supremacists. He also performs stand-up, improv and sketch comedy in Los Angeles. His other credits include writing and voice-over work for the long-running Fox series “King of the Hill.”

“The History Boys”

In Cutlers’ Grammar School in north England during the 1980s, a group of history students preparing for the entrance exams under the guidance of three teachers with contrasting styles that calls into question the nature of history and how it is taught, as well as the purpose of education. “The History Boys” is an ISU Theatre and Stage West production.

Habitat for Humanity fundraiser featuring The Nadas

$80 per player (includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner, silent auction and concert)

Help Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa as it teams with Coldwater Golf Link for a day of enjoyment at Coldwater Golf Links.

The golf outing will be followed by a dinner at 6 and a performance by the Nadas from 7–9 p.m. Tickets are available at Copyworks, 105 Welch Ave.; Temptations on Main, 309 Main St. and Habitat for Humanity’s Central Iowa office, 401 Clark Ave., for separate dinner and concert tickets.
