Grammy-nominated rapper Afroman will be coming to Bali Satay, 2424 Lincoln Way, at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Afroman became an Internet hit when his 2001 single “Because I Got High” got played on “The Howard Stern Show.” It was later used in the cult film “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.” He also received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance for the song. His other hit single, “Crazy Rap” was released in 2000. Much of his early success came from people sharing his music by peer-to-peer file sharing services such as Napster.

He has released 11 albums over the past decade.
