A short section of Kellogg Avenue between Lincoln Way and Gilchrist Street will close Thursday for pavement removal.

The street will reopen after two days of work and traffic will be allowed to “cross Kellogg Avenue, through the Iowa Work Force Development parking lot, to Market Street to return to Lincoln Way,” according to a press release from the City of Ames.

The section of Kellogg from Lincoln Way and Gilchrist Street will remain closed for four to five weeks while the project occurs.
