Cross country and Track star Lisa Koll has been named the Academic All-American of the Year by ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA.

Koll earned the top honor this season after making the Academic All-America Team last year.

After winning the 10,000 meter National Championship last season, Koll finished ninth in this year’s Championships after an injury-plagued season.

Koll graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology in three years with a 3.98 GPA. She is currently working on a second degree in Veterinary Medicine.
