Leopold Center names new members

The Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture has appointed Bill Ehm, Susan Jutz and John Sellers, Jr. to its advisory board.
Ehm is the new representative on the board for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and is currently water policy director for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Jutz, owner of ZJ farms in Solon, will represent the Practical Farmers of Iowa on the board. Sellers, who previously served on the board, is returning to represent the State Soil Conservation Committee.
The Leopold Center is dedicated to removing harmful environmental factors from agricultural practices, according to the group’s Web site. The center is funded through grants, state funds and donations.
