The Ames Patriotic Council will be hosting its annual Memorial Day Parade through Ames before a flyover by the Iowa Air National Guard.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday on the west side of City Hall, 515 Clark Ave. Parade participants will travel from City Hall to Ninth Street before ending at the Ames Municipal Cemetery for a memorial program at 11 a.m.

The parade will be canceled in the case of rain, but the program will still be held at the Ames Municipal Auditorium at 11:30 a.m.
