Thank you, Cy!

You gave one little 5-year-old girl — our granddaughter — a wonderful day. She colored a picture for you early Saturday morning before the Veishea Parade. Her plan was to give it to you during the parade, and she did. You accepted it graciously and gave her a big hug. She was glowing! She had the biggest smile on her little face. She was so happy; thank you so much. We have had occasions during the ISU Women’s Basketball Games at Hilton Coliseum to see this glowing smile, too, when you hug her. It is no wonder that you were chosen as the 2008 Capital One National Mascot of the Year this past January. Congratulations, we are so pleased that you have made your home at Iowa State.
