The new version of Internet Explorer, released this weekend, is not fully compatible with WebCT, according to the Information Technology Services Web site.

The department recommends students not accept the Internet Explorer 8 upgrade if a message to do so shows up on their browsers.

The department also recommends students using Internet Explorer turn off automatic updates to their browsers.

If students have upgraded, the department said they can uninstall Internet Explorer 8 or run the browser in Internet Explorer 7 compatibility mode.
