Iowa State has filled its three vacant dean positions.

• College of Design — Luis Rico-Gutierrez, associate dean of the College of Fine Arts and David Lewis Director of the Remaking Cities Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. His term begins July 1.

• College of Engineering — Jonathan Wickert, professor and chair of mechanical engineering at Iowa State. His term begins July 1.

• College of Human Sciences — Pam White, university professor of food science and human nutrition and interim dean of the College of Human Sciences at Iowa State. Her term begins April 16.
