Among the basketball elite,

among our scholar athletes,

aggressive as the game requires

with fiery spirit they inspire.

Rallies oft their foes confound,

their fierce contention in rebounds,

three pointers sunk from out-of town,

their opposition to shut down.

Young girls revere, are often awed,

role models parents can applaud,

their vibrant energy displayed,

their will to win is not dismayed.

In years to come we will recall

two thousand nine and basketball.

The women’s team will yet stand tall,

their leadership enjoyed by all.
