Coach Greg McDermott announced that freshman forward Clinton Mann has will transfer from Iowa State following the school year.

The departure seems to be on good terms as both McDermott and Mann wished the other luck in a press release on Monday.

“I’ve decided to transfer to another school that will provide me a better opportunity to play earlier in my career,” Mann said in the press release.

Mann did not play much as a freshman, seeing just 43 minutes in 18 games.
