WHAT IT MEANS:
No. 3 Missouri vs. No. 11 Texas Tech
8:30 p.m. Thursday on ESPN 2
The big upset over the Aggies by Tech means that a team that finished 3-13 in the Big 12 will match up with the 12-4 Mizzou Tigers. Singletary may not be able to replicate his 43 point performance against the up tempo Tigers, but as the Red Raider offense proved against top-seeded Kansas, they can go off at anytime. Missouri lost their last game of the regular season, and will need to find quick focus against the streaky squad from Lubbock, Texas.
