- Britney Spears kicked off her first tour, the
Circus Tour, in five years. The show cast her as the ringmaster of
a circus as she directed jugglers, acrobats and martial arts
dancers on stage along with her. The tour kicked off Tuesday in her
home state, Louisiana, in New Orleans.
- ABC announced the new Bachelorette to be Jillian
Harris
, a 29-year-old interior designer from Alberta,Canada.
- Disney announced plans for a fourth installment of the High
School Musical series set to be released in 2010.
- Miley Cyrus released a book on Tuesday called
“Miles to Go,” where she discusses her childhood before her stardom
as “friendless, lonely and miserable.”
- Michael Jackson released plans of his first
concert in three years. He will be performing several dates at
London’s 02 Arena.
- The long awaited Watchmen movie opens this Friday. Zack
Snyder
announced he will not be in a sequel orprequel.
- Jimmy Fallon made his debut as the new “Late
Night” host on Tuesday. He got ready for the show as Conan
O’Brien was still backstage packing for his move to take
over Jay Leno’s spot.
