— Martin Henderson, from “The Ring” and “Smokin’ Aces,” will be starring in Shonda Rhime’s pilot “Inside the Box” for ABC. ABC’s “Happy Town” has also signed Geoff Stults, star of “O-Road” to play the sheriff of a small town.
— CBS has just ordered a pilot of “Thunder Road,” a racing reality competition show. The show will feature two teams of contestants who have to race on a driving course that has many challenging obstacles.
— Famke Janssen and Ellen Barkin will be joining the cast of “The Chameleon.” They will be joining Marc-Andre Grondin, who will be playing a man who claims he went missing as a child.
— Louise Lombard, Peter Cambor and Daniela Ruah will be joining the spinoff of “NCIS.”
— Bravo is starting a new reality series, a twist on the fictional series “Gossip Girl.” The show will focus on private-school kids living in New York City. The new series is being compared to MTV’s reality series “Laguna Beach,” which focused on wealthy high-school kids.
— “The Amazing Race” revealed its course that will take place over 22 days. The racers will be starting in Los Alamitos, Calif., then will fly to Stechelberg, Switzerland, where the world’s second-tallest bungee is located.
