By halftime of Kansas’ 75-62 loss against Michigan State, the Jayhawks had scored only 18 points — their lowest point total since 10 years ago when they recorded 18 points in the second half against Iowa State Feb. 28, 1999. The Jayhawks were behind the Spartans by 19 points at the half, marking their largest halftime deficit since 2003.

Highlight of the Week

Blake Griffin and No. 6 Oklahoma blow past No. 11 Texas

Oklahoma sophomore Blake Griffin recorded his 14th double-double of the year (20 pts, 10 reb) as the Sooners proved no match for the Longhorns, cruising to a 78-63 victory. The Sooners’ win was their first in six years against the Longhorns.

Game to watch

Oklahoma State (12-3, 1-0) at No. 21 Baylor (13-2, 1-0)

Since losing three out of four games in late November, Oklahoma State has been on a roll, having won its last seven games. Baylor has not had too many slip-ups in the non-conference season and opened conference play with an impressive 73-61 victory over Texas Tech.
