Winter weather advisory issued for Story County

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from midnight until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The forecast includes calls for light rain, but could include a combination of sleet, freezing rain and snow. Precipitation is not expected to continue through daybreak, but accumulations of freezing or frozen precipation could produce hazardous travel conditions.
More significant snow or ice accumulations could occur Tuesday north of Highway 30.
The advisory could be expanded as details arrive.
