MTV will spinoff Whitney Port from “The Hills” to her own series early next year.
Mark Schwahn, creator of the CW TV series “One Tree Hill,” signed a deal that will likely keep the show on for a seventh season.
The shows “Knight Rider,” “Fringe” and “The Mentalist” have been given a full season from their network while Fox’s comedy “Do Not Disturb” has been canceled.
The upcoming “Iron Man 2” will have Don Cheadle instead of Terrence Howard as Jim Rhodes when it is released.
NBC has won the rights to David E. Kelley’s new project, currently in the early stages of development. Kelley has created such shows as “Ally McBeal,” “Boston Legal” and “The Practice.”
Some of the advertisements for Kevin Smith’s new movie “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” have been declared to risqué and have been rejected by newspapers, TV and outdoor ads.
