LETTERS: Vote early on campus to help save economy

Anthony Maly

Being a student who will be entering the job market in the next couple years, I do not want to be burdened by high taxes. After watching Barack Obama on this past Tuesday’s debate, I can say I will be voting for him. The typical middle class family will receive well over $1,000 in tax relief under the Obama plan, and will pay tax rates that are 20 percent lower than they faced under President Reagan.

If we want to fix our economy, it needs to start at the root of it all: the middle class.

The tax cuts that Barack Obama is offering are very encouraging. This is why everyone should vote for Barack Obama at the Memorial Union on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3p.m. The process is simple to do and prevents you from having to leave campus on Nov. 4 and having to wait in long lines. I’m glad Barack Obama’s campaign made it so easy to get information to vote early on campus.
