Three facilities come together

What do air conditioning units, weddings and plants all have in common? They can be found under one roof in Atmore.
Garden Gallery, along with Coley Air Conditioning, Inc., have moved from three separate locations into one facility.
Cathy Coley is the brains behind Garden Gallery’s rentals for special occasions and she said the move is great for renting.
“For the rental business, this is perfect for parking and for convenience with the big doors and the huge warehouse,” Coley said.
But the main reason for the move was so more people would know where the businesses were located. Now that they are on Main Street, all three of them will be seen easier.
Coley Air Conditioning was located at 409 E. Ridgeley St. for more than 35 years. Garden Gallery’s nursery and landscaping facility was located beside Coley Air Conditioning on Ridgeley and Garden Gallery’s floral design and rental facility was located at 201 N. Main St.
Clint and Susan Smith and Danny and Cathy Coley co-own Garden Gallery. Danny and Cathy Coley also own the air conditioning business and their son, Judd, is the manager.
Because of the links between the three different locations, the Smiths and Coleys thought it would be best to move into one big facility.
“It will be a lot easier because we can help each other out here,” Cathy Coley said. “It’s really neat because as much as I loved being on the corner (at the old location), I was by myself a lot. But this is a fun, family business.”
So now in one building, area residents can find floral designs, rentals and accessories for weddings and other special occasions, a professional nursery and landscaping company and they can also meet their air conditioning needs.
