The ISU men’s basketball team added three more recruits Wednesday, bringing the recruit total to seven.

Coach Greg McDermott announced that L.A. Pomlee, Jamie Vanderbeken and Scott Christopherson will join the team for next season.

Christopherson will sit out the 2008-2009 season after transferring from Marquette.

Pomlee, a 6-foot-8-inch forward from Davenport Central averaged 15.4 points and 10.1 rebounds during his senior season.

Hailing from Belleville, Canada, Vanderbeken led his Tyler (Texas) Junior College to a top-10 ranking. The 6-foot-11-inch forward averaged 14.1 points and 9.1 rebounds last season.

Christopherson, Wisconsin’s 2007 Mr. Basketball, appeared in 18 games for the Golden Eagles last season, averaging 1.3 points. In high school, the 6-foot-3-inch guard dropped 22.3 points and 4 assists a game.
