‘Prayer has been the only measure I can take for all victims’
April 9, 2019
I don’t think I’ve ever felt more helpless than I did when a friend confided in me that she’s a victim of sexual harassment. I would imagine that my experience of despair, anger, and a want to ‘fix’ what happened to her while listening can’t even hold a candle to what it must be like to be in her shoes as the actual victim. Prayer has been the only measure I can take for all victims. And I will be wearing denim because it’s such a simple way to be in solidarity with victims.
