Heather Ezell made eight three-pointers, but it was Alison Lacey with the game-winning three-point play in overtime.

Down by as many six in overtime, Iowa State fought back to a 66-65 victory over the No. 1 seed Kansas State Wildcats in the quarterfinals of the women’s basketball Big 12 Tournament.

Lacey drove to the lane to hit a lay-in and get fouled by Kansas State’s Shalee Lehning with about four seconds left to tie the game, and made the ensuing free throw to give the Cyclones their first lead of the extra period.

Lehning then drove the length of the court to get a final shot for the Wildcats, a shot that looked to be good but rimmed out.

The Cyclones forced the game to overtime with a Jocelyn Anderson lay-up with less than a second left in regulation to tie the game. Anderson grabbed a rebound after Lacey missed an open look at a potential game-winning three-pointer out of a timeout.

Ezell had a game-high 26 points, Lacey added 17 and Anderson had 11.
