March 13
Assist other Agency, University Village (reported at 10:30 a.m.). Randolph Dean, 30, 161B University Village, was arrested on warrants held by the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
Suspicious Activity, Thielen Student Health Center (reported at 12:53 p.m.). A staff member reported receiving a suspicious fax message regarding a prescription request.
Missing Person, University Village (reported at 8:55 p.m.). A resident reported her juvenile son had possibly run away from home. Officers located the individual at an off-campus address and returned him to his residence.
March 14
Alcohol Violation, University Village (reported at 1:00 a.m.). Jessica James, 19, 122C University Village, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.
Theft, Armory (reported at 12:57 p.m.). An individual who resides off-campus reported someone used his identification information without authorization.
Public Accident, Bissell Road (reported at 2:32 p.m.). A staff member reported a drilling truck struck the overhead walkway.
Criminal Mischief, Lot 60 (reported at 4:49 p.m.). Michael Radle reported damage to a parked vehicle.
Criminal Mischief, Lot 62 (reported at 5:24 p.m.). Benjamin Kayser reported damage to a vehicle mirror.
Harassment, Larch Hall (reported at 5:29 p.m.). A resident reported being harassed by an acquaintance.
Domestic Dispute, Friley Hall (reported at 8:04 p.m.). Officers mediated a dispute between acquaintances regarding a camera.
Fire, Kildee Hall (reported at 10:02 p.m.). A student officer on patrol observed a trash can fire. The fire was extinguished.
March 15
OWI, Lot 13 (reported at 1:32 a.m.). David Tarnow, 22, of Boone, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
March 16
Harassment/Weapon Incident, Willow Hall (reported at 12:55 a.m.). Officers responded to a report of a gun being displayed. Jawon Jackson, 20, of Aurora, Ill., was later arrested and charged with going armed with intent, carrying a weapon on school grounds and first degree harassment. Theft, Town Engineering (reported at 1:51 p.m.). Xuhao Wang reported the theft of a bicycle.
March 18
Towed Vehicle, WOI Road (reported at 5:06 p.m.). An unattended vehicle parked all day in the traveled portion of the road was towed.
