Tristan Prettyman says she never realized real people could be the ones heard on the radio or singing on television. She started playing music off and on as a teenager and after a brief stint in community college her parents suggested she take a stab at performing.

Now, 25-year-old Prettyman is signed with Virgin Records with two albums, Twenty Three and Hello. She says her favorite thing about music is that it’s a lot like love. “Sometimes it’s love at first sight, and other times it hits you when you least expect it – which is where I’m at now,” Prettyman said.
