Catch what is described as “acoustic pop arrangements with flavorful hints of roots, country, rock and even punk,” when Five Times August hits the M-Shop on Wednesday night.
The solo acoustic project, headed by Texas-born Brad Skistimas, is set to release a new CD called “Brighter Side” on March 18.
Skistimas, 24 years old, shook up the record industry when he sold 100,000 downloads of his music and landed 18 song placements on popular television shows – all without a record label.
