Public Intoxication, Chamberlain Street and Stanton Avenue (reported at 12:37 a.m.). Kody Petersen, 20, of Mitchellville, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Public Intoxication, Hayward Avenue and Lincoln Way (reported at 2:49 a.m.). Evan Seite, 23, of Story City, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Dec. 30

Criminal Mischief, Memorial Union Ramp (reported at 12:10 a.m.). A staff member reported damage to a parking gate arm.

Found Property, Heady Hall (reported at 2:26 a.m.). An officer on patrol discovered a bag containing deer remains. The item was turned over to EH&S staff for proper disposal.

Implied Consent, Mortensen Road and Pinon Drive (reported at 4:31 a.m.). An officer invoked implied consent for a driver who refused to provide a bodily specimen for chemical testing. The matter will be referred to DOT officials.

Theft, Memorial Union Ramp (reported at 5:15 p.m.). A staff member reported several vehicles left the parking ramp without paying for services.

Assault, 121 Welch Ave. (reported at 1:51 a.m.). A patron of Cy’s Roost reported being assaulted by an unidentified individual who fled the scene.

Department Information, Lot 114 (reported at 12:38 p.m.). An individual reported an unauthorized person had been placing garbage in a Dumpster on an ongoing basis.
