Find weekend fun in film, concerts and more

Amanda Molitor

For students living on campus or those surviving without a car, it can sometimes be a challenge to find something to do close to campus on the weekend. However, with a little digging it is obvious that Iowa State offers some great activities for students, ranging from craft classes to sporting events and movies. AMUSE found some of the best things to do on campus on a Friday night.

One advantage of attending a large university is the opportunity to see some of the best athletes compete. Winter is a great time to stay warm and watch wrestling, hockey or swimming and diving.

The next home wrestling meet is against Wisconsin at 7 p.m. Friday in Hilton Coliseum, while swimming and diving compete against St. Olaf in Beyer Pool at 6 p.m. Friday.
