Traffic Collision, Union Drive (reported at 2:28 p.m.). A vehicle driven by Darren Huntley was involved in a property damage collision.
Jan. 5
OWI, Beach Avenue and Mortensen Parkway (reported at 1:15 a.m.). Matthew Onstot, 23, of Huxley, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
Jan. 6
OWI, South 4th Street and University Boulevard (reported at 2:29 a.m.). Robbie Nelson, 21, of Audubon, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
Traffic Collision, Pammel Drive and Stange Road (reported at 11:13 a.m.). A vehicle driven by Justin Hallberg was involved in a property damage collision.
Found Property, South 4th Street and University Boulevard (reported at 7:36 p.m.). A found license plate was placed into secure storage.
Jan. 8
Criminal Mischief, Howe Hall (reported at 12:10 a.m.). An officer observed damage to a microwave oven.
Welfare Check, Buchanan Hall (reported at 2:32 p.m.). Officers were asked to check the welfare of a resident.
Suspicious Activity, Science I (reported at 2:38 p.m.). Officers received a report of several computer cables being disconnected in a lab and items being moved. The incident apparently occurred last weekend.

Traffic Collision, Blankenburg Drive and Stange Road (reported at 5:31 p.m.). Vehicles driven by Poong Oh and Adam Forney were involved in a property damage collision.
Jan. 11
Theft, Memorial Union (reported at 8:24 p.m.). An individual left the parking ramp without paying for services.
Found Property, Union Drive Community Center (reported at 11:43 p.m.). A found cell phone was placed into secure storage.
Jan. 12
OWI, Hayward Avenue and Knapp Street (reported at 1:38 a.m.). Lucas Nagl, 23, of 1416 Mayfield Drive #203, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated (second offense). He was transported to the Story County Justice Center. Report initiated.
Traffic Collision, 13th Street and Stange Road (reported at 11:07 a.m.). Vehicles driven by Sandra Bodholdt and Jessica Markley were involved in a property damage collision.
Assist other Agency, Buchanan Hall (reported at 1:27p.m.). John Wethington, 22, of 9120 Buchanan Hall, was arrested on a warrant held by the Story County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
Traffic Collision, Lot 112 (reported at 2:06 p.m.). A vehicle that left the scene struck a pickup owned by Robert Allen.
Fraud, Armory (reported at 8:53 p.m.). Officers initiated a fraud-related investigation.
Jan. 13
Medical Assist, Buchanan Hall (reported at 3:04 a.m.). Officers assisted a resident who was experiencing emotional difficulties. The individual was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment.
OWI, Sheldon Avenue and Lincoln Way (reported at 3:14 a.m.). James Opheim, 29, 813 Carroll Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
Jan. 14
Theft, Parks Library (reported at 2:03 p.m.). A patron reported the theft of a book bag.
Theft, Memorial Union (reported at 4:59 p.m.). Brian Thittlas reported the theft of a desktop computer.
Case Update, University Village (reported at 5:42 p.m.). Jason Varee, 22, 140G University Village, was arrested on warrants charging him with two counts of third degree burglary and one count of simple misdemeanor harassment. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
Jan. 15
Theft, Agronomy Hall (reported at 11:34 a.m.). Amanda Ronk reported the theft of a cellular telephone.
Criminal Mischief, Martin Hall (reported at 1:12 p.m.). A resident reported damage to a door.
Drug Investigation, Armory (reported at 2:46 p.m.). Officers initiated a drug-related investigation.
Case Update, Larch Hall (reported at 9:31 p.m.). Aaron Braimah, 18, 5369 Larch Hall, was arrested on a warrant charging him with second degree criminal mischief. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center. Supplement completed.

Theft, Memorial Union (reported at 1:42 p.m.). A staff member reported the theft of cash from a recreation area.
Traffic Collision, Iowa State Center (reported at 2:49 p.m.). Vehicles driven by Brian Lee and Bethany Drury were involved in a property damage collision.
Traffic Collision, South 4th Street (reported at 6:24 p.m.). Vehicles driven by Heidi Rode and Ryan Kuhn were involved in a property damage collision.
Traffic Collision, 13th Street and Stange Road (reported at 8:31 p.m.). Vehicles driven by Duke Yeboa-Waressen and Marcus Jacobson were involved in a property damage collision.
Jan. 17
Drug Violation/Alcohol Violation, Maple Hall (reported at 1:42 a.m.). Jee Hyun Chang, 20, 101 Maple Hall, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, underage possession of alcohol and unlawful use of a license. Daniel Carlson, 19, 101 Maple Hall, was charged with charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol. Both were subsequently released on citation.
OWI, Hilltop Road and Tripp Street (reported at 3:59 a.m.). Dennis Haislip, 38, 404 S. 4th St., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
Traffic Collision, Lot 93 (reported at 8:02 a.m.). Vehicles driven by Leslie Richardson and Preston Ayers were involved in a property damage collision.
Traffic Collision, South 4th Street and University Boulevard (reported at 9:17 a.m.). Vehicles driven by Grant Dickinson and Jason Bohning were involved in a property damage collision.
