Public intoxication, Knapp Street and Ash Avenue (reported at 12:54 a.m.). Jeffrey Swanson, 21, 416 Ash Ave., was arrested and charged with public intoxication, escape and criminal mischief. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

OWI, Beach Road and Wallace Road (reported at 1:14 a.m.). Mindy Powell, 25, 1337 Walton Drive, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. She was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Medical assist, Davidson Hall (reported at 8:26 a.m.). Officers assisted a woman who had fallen. The individual was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment.

Theft, Ross Hall (reported at 11:12 a.m.). Elizabeth Vickers reported the theft of a bike. The incident occurred sometime after Oct. 1.

Medical assist, Palmer Building (reported at 12:04 p.m.). Officers assisted a child who was acting lethargic. The individual was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for observation.

Theft, Linden Hall (reported at 2:28 p.m.). Mikayla Rohde reported the theft of a telephone.

Theft, Helser Hall (reported at 2:54 p.m.). A resident reported unauthorized withdrawals from his banking account.

Drug violation, Freeman Hall (reported at 8:16 p.m.). Jessica Hutton-Lomeli, 18, of Newton, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Theft, Bessey Hall (reported at 8:48 p.m.). A student reported the theft of cash from a wallet.

Criminal mischief, Buchanan Hall (reported at 1:51 a.m.). A resident reported items disturbed in a room.

Assault, Memorial Union (reported at 10:17 a.m.). Nicholas Miller, 23, of Urbandale, was arrested and charged with serious assault. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Theft, Martin Hall (reported at 10:43 a.m.). Thomas Koziar reported the theft of a bike.

Assault, Lake LaVerne (reported at 12:37 p.m.). A student reported being assaulted by three men the previous evening.

Theft, Parks Library (reported at 4:13 p.m.). Kito Berg-Taylor reported the theft of a bicycle wheel.

Found property, Armory (reported at 9:52 p.m.). A found cell phone was placed into secure storage.

Public intoxication, Lot 60 (reported at 2:36 a.m.). Benjamin Gonzalez, 22, 3404 Coy St. #9, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Public intoxication, Stange Road and Daley Drive (reported at 2:47 a.m.). Timothy Sinnwell, 19, of Des Moines, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Alcohol violation, Union Drive and Welch Road (reported at 3:05 a.m.). Christopher Gelhaus, 18, of Coon Rapids, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.

Found property, Howe Hall (reported at 12:01 p.m.). A found set of keys was placed into secure storage.

Criminal mischief, Willow Hall (reported at 2:32 p.m.). A resident reported damage to a computer, chair and cell phone.
