Iowa State University President Gregory Geoffroy, University of Northern Iowa President Benjamin Allen and University of Iowa President Sally Mason have forwarded their recommendations to the Iowa State Board Regents, which oversees the institutions.

The presidents all indicated they will not elaborate on their recommendations until the regents’ meeting on Sept. 18-19 in Council Bluffs.

The recommendations were issued after a review of campus security in the wake of the campus shootings at Virginia Tech in April.
