Iowa state pulled off a 15-13 upset in one of the most exciting games in the Iowa vs. Iowa State series.

Fans basked in celebration after Bret Culbertson’s 28-yard field goal clinched the game. Iowa State led early and held on to that lead until late in the fourth quarter, but needed last-minute heroics to pull off the win.

Culbertson’s field goal left one second on the clock, and as Iowa State got ready to kick the ball off for one more play, fans lined up on the sidelines preparing to storm the field. After a crazy play ended on the ISU 25-yard line, fans stormed the field and swarmed the team as they carried off the Cy-Hawk trophy for the seventh time in 10 years.
