MUSCATINE &#8212 Jury selection began Monday in the murder trial of a woman charged with shooting her boyfriend.

Cathryn Linn, 43, of Muscatine, was charged with first-degree murder on Feb. 7. Court documents allege that she shot Barry Blanchard, 42, during an argument at her home.

Blanchard was found with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Linn pleaded not guilty in February and is on a $2 million bond.
