2:25 a.m. – Sheldon Splinter, 22, 1505 Little Bluestem Court #117, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

July 1: Disorderly conduct, Schilletter Village

12:22 p.m. – A resident reported an ongoing dispute with a neighbor. The matter was referred to Department of Residence officials.

July 2: Traffic collision, 200 block of Gray Avenue

2:10 a.m. – A motorcycle operated by Samuel Albert was involved in a personal injury collision.

July 2: OWI/driving violation, 200 block of Gray Avenue

2:10 a.m. – Samuel Albert, 25, of Des Moines, was arrested and charged with the following offenses: operating while intoxicated; interference with official acts; operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent; driving under suspension; violation of restricted license; failure to maintain control; excessive speed; no insurance; stop sign violation; and operating an unregistered vehicle.

July 3: Domestic abuse, University Village

5:22 a.m. – Anthony Romero, 40, 162A University Village, was arrested and charged with simple misdemeanor domestic assault. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

July 3: Traffic collision/driving violation, Lot C6

10:43 p.m. – Vehicles driven by Helen Hogan and Jason Berryman were involved in a property damage collision. Berryman was cited for driving under suspension and failing to obey a stop sign.

July 5: Theft, Howe Hall

6:10 a.m. – A staff member reported the theft of a notebook.

10:48 a.m. – A number of abandoned DVDs were placed into secure storage.

7:57 p.m. – An abandoned bike was placed into secure storage.

July 6: Criminal mischief, Durham Center

9:08 a.m. – San Yi Zhan, 57D Schilletter Village, reported damage to a bike tire.

July 6: Burglary, Friley Hall

9:54 p.m. – Two rooms, occupied by wrestling camp attendees, were entered and items taken from them.

July 6: OWI, Bruner Drive and Long Road

11:10 p.m. – Kirsten Larsen, 22, 114C University Village, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. She was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

July 7: OWI, Ash Avenue and Knapp Street

12:06 a.m. – Jay Lauridsen, 21, 5885 Alta Vista Road, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

July 7: Implied consent, Lincoln Way and Colorado Avenue

3:06 a.m. – Implied consent was invoked on a driver who refused to provide a body specimen for chemical testing.

July 7: Public intoxication, Lincoln Way and Franklin Avenue

3:40 a.m. – Christopher Hagen, 20, 3022 Almond Road, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

July 7: Burglary, Lot 60

11:04 a.m. – Kaylee Manns reported the theft of cash and other items from her vehicle.

July 8: OWI, Hayward Avenue and Mortensen Parkway

2:21 a.m. – Justis Eipperle, 21, 1103 Delaware Ave. #8, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

July 8: Criminal mischief, CyRide Bus Stop, Union Drive

10:41 a.m. – The CyRide dispatcher called to report that someone had broken a pane of glass in the bus stop. The incident occurred sometime between 10:10 and 10:20 a.m.
