The information in this log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
April 4
- Officers responded to an automated fire alarm at Willow Hall. A piece of paper had apparently been set on fire with a handheld lighter. Benjamin Ullom, 21, 3218 Willow Hall, was later arrested and charged with public intoxication, reckless use of fire and false reports.
- A staff member reported a found wallet had been turned in. The item was placed into secure storage until the owner can be contacted.
- The items reported stolen from the Forker Building were found at the main office; the reporting parties were notified.
April 5
- Vehicles driven by Aricka Carr and Nathan Fara were involved in a property damage collision.
- A staff member reported a student failed to return a laptop computer and a camera that had been checked out on loan.
- Walter Mendez, 20, of Des Moines, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension.
- Tonda Hadden reported the theft of a bike.
- Vehicles driven by Cody McDonald and Austin Gerritson were involved in a property damage collision.
