FEEDBACK: Phillips, Guffy will represent students

The Government of the Student Body elections will take place March 5 and 6. This year we have a chance to elect two great executives who are ready to take on the challenges of next year. Brian Phillips and Ian Guffy have worked on GSB to tackle the issues of student representation in the city, equality in funding practices for student organizations, and fairly allocating $1.5 million in student fees to campus clubs and organizations. They have helped organize events such as Political Action Week and last spring’s relief effort after the Iowa City tornadoes. Phillips and Guffy know how to plan and perform when they are needed. They are ready to provide a voice for students during next year’s sesquicentennial celebrations. They will improve finance procedures for clubs and organizations, so they are simpler and clearer. They will improve GSB’s communication with students, ensuring that every student gets the opportunity to participate in all that Iowa State has to offer. Vote for experience and action on March 5 and 6 – vote for Brian Phillips and Ian Guffy at www.vote.iastate.edu.
