The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Nov. 30
n Vehicles owned and/or operated by Tracy Olderding and Eric Williamson were involved in a property damage collision.
n A university employee observed a man removing copper pipe from a construction trailer, cutting it into pieces, placing it in a vehicle, and driving away. The vehicle was stopped by officers.
n Michael Caraher, 38, of Ogden, was arrested and charged with second-degree theft (Class D felony).
n Robert Gilles, 5527 Friley Hall, reported the theft of money from his room. The incident occurred sometime over Thanksgiving break.
n Blaine Alderks, 18, 2207 Roberts Hall, was arrested and charged with public intoxication in reference to an incident that occurred Sept. 30.
Dec. 1
n Craig Wattier, 29, of Nebraska, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
n Vehicles driven by Brittany Overstreet and Teresa Peterson were involved in a property damage collision.
n Shemeka Veasey, 22, of 3404 Coy St., was arrested and charged with driving under suspension. She was subsequently released on citation.
Dec. 2
n Officers assisted an individual who had apparently consumed too much alcohol. The person was examined by medical personnel and released to the care of friends.
n Justin Bochmann, 22, 3014 Buchanan Hall, was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
n David Fenton, 33, of Des Moines, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and assault after he allegedly attempted to strike an usher supervisor.
n Nathan Brecht, 18, 2242 Willow Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on citation.
n A staff member reported damage to a wall in Helser Hall.
n A resident reported damage to a game table located in a second floor den of Martin Hall.
