Hilton’s light addition ‘literally sickening,’ distracts from game
November 10, 2006
I attended the first women’s game at Hilton Coliseum on Sunday with my family. The expanded scoreboard is OK, and the new seats are a welcome change. However, the light strip circling the arena is intrusive, dizzying and literally sickening. It doesn’t even help to wear a hat, I learned, as the glare from the light strip reflects on the floor.
We have bought women’s season tickets for several years, but if that aggravating lighting isn’t very much subdued – or better yet, removed – we won’t be back.
And we don’t want to so much as glimpse a Barilla logo for a long, long time.
