I have known Jami Larson for many years and been involved with him in the community on various occasions.ÿ I have found him willing to listen and make decisions – after some thought – that were in the best interest of the organization or community activity he was involved with.

I think the City Council needs this kind of person, especially after the confusion and single-position approaches that we have seen over the recent years.ÿ It divides the community and causes many residents to take sides in an effort to prove to the council that their cause is the most important.

There are many important decisions and judgments that are coming up in Ames, and I think Larson is in a good position to help guide the council and the city in a positive and thoughtful manner.
