The information in the log comes from Ames Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Aug. 30
– An individual reported losing a purse in the food-court area.
– Two wallets were found in the Armory and placed into secure storage until the owners can be located.
– A vehicle operated by Casey Jones, of 1411 Summit Ave., collided with a bicyclist.
– A staff member reported receiving a harassing message.
Aug. 29
– John Bianchi, 20, of 312 Hillcrest Ave. apt. # 1, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
– A staff member reported the theft of a battery and a speed sign.
– A student reported the theft of a parking permit.
