The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Sept. 23
– Jared Austin, 21, 725 Maple Hall, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment and later to the Story County Justice Center.
– Austin Wilkinson, 22, 4700 Mortensen Road apt. #210, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
– Jie Zhang, 407 S. Fifth St., reported the theft of two bikes.
– A resident reported the theft of a laptop computer.
– Chris Bone, 319 Maple Hall, reported damage to a vehicle window.
– Two residents reported the theft of cash, gift cards and perfume from their rooms.
– Officers assisted an individual suffering from an apparent alcohol overdose. The person was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment.
Sept. 24
– A resident reported being harassed by an acquaintance.
– Andrew Ernst reported damage to a vehicle window.
– Officers received a report that an individual had been sexually assaulted by an acquaintance.
Sept. 25
– A staff member reported someone had moved items in an office during the weekend.
– An individual reported seeing a vehicle strike a parked car. The incident remains under investigation.
– A resident reported the theft of a purse.
– A resident reported vandalism to a car. A suspect was identified and subsequently admitted to the offense. The incident remains under investigation.
